I get asked from time to time if I know where my photos that sell through Getty Image, end up. My answer to that is that I do know who buys an image, but not how it gets used, unless I happen to stumble upon one of my "children". Just today I was Googling myself (I know, how very pathetic.) because it can be a good way of finding out if anyone past friends and family have heard of your work, and stumbled across one of my photos! Turns out one of my "babies" made it to the Real Simple magazine website, so thanks to whomever it was that wanted to use my photo! You totally made my day.
